There is a plethora of technology out there, especially in the CCTV market, most of which does about the same sort of job to a greater or lesser extent. One of our roles is to find the most relevant & robust technology for our/your purpose and test it to see if it is any good before we release it onto your sites. This ensures that, you the client can be safe in the knowledge that the technology we offer is up to the task of protecting your sites.
The construction site scenario is also unique in that it is a fluid environment and open to all the elements the weather has to throw at it. The nature of the sites are also that the equipment although sensitive technology has to withstand shall we say, a heavy handed approach by the site operatives!
What this all means is that our equipment is mostly unique to CCS and the way in which we install and maintain our systems is also different to the permanent installation.
The use of radio linked technology ensures that we can place detectors where we want detection and not where the ability to get a cable dictates we put the sensors.
Radio link detectors also save time on installation but also can be moved about the site to suit the current situation. Example; there is a delivery which has just been plonked infront of a detector. With a wired detector it would be an expensive call out to send an engineer to adjust the system. But with radio linked detectors even the site can move the sensors on a daily basis if required.
